How much do your ETFs overlap?
Many portfolios hold two or three world or US ETFs. They often own the same large companies. The portfolio check shows how big that overlap is, fund pair by fund pair.
What ETF overlap means
Overlap is the share of one fund's holdings that another fund also holds. Two funds with a high overlap move in a very similar way. Holding both adds positions to your depot, but few new companies.
Example
A world ETF and an S&P 500 ETF both hold Apple, Microsoft and Nvidia. US companies make up a large part of a world index, so the two funds share a big part of their weight.
What the check shows you
- Overlap per fund pair, and your biggest duplication.
- Look-through stocks: your real weight in single companies across all funds.
- Top-10 share: how much of your money sits in your 10 biggest companies.
- Country and sector breakdown, compared with the world market.
How it works
- Upload screenshots or a PDF from your broker, or add ETFs by name or ISIN.
- Check the matched funds and weights.
- Get your report in about a minute. Share it as a link or image.
The check uses the holdings lists that ETF issuers publish. Funds without published holdings are shown, but left out of the overlap calculation.
